What search covers

The search bar queries across:

• Bookmark title
• URL
• Page description
• Your notes
• Tags

This means you can find a link by remembering any detail about it—the domain, a phrase in the title, a tag you applied, or something you wrote in your notes.

Using search

Click the search bar at the top of the dashboard or press / to focus it from anywhere. Start typing. Results appear immediately as you type.

Combining search and filters

Search works together with tag filters. Select a tag from the sidebar to narrow to that tag, then search within those results. This is useful for queries like "show me all my React bookmarks that mention hooks."

Search on mobile

Search works the same way in the mobile app. Tap the search icon and type. Results pull from your local database, so search is fast and works offline.

Search tips

• Shorter queries often return better results than long phrases
• Use tag names in search to find tags and matching content simultaneously
• Notes are the most valuable search surface—write a short note at save time about why you saved the link
